Nice gun! Some parts of the textures are working very well. I'm loving the scratches near the cannon (they seem a bit too visible but I don't really mind) and the decals.

My problem is with the handle (or whatever it's called). It looks very unrealistic compared to the rest of the gun. I'm guessing that you had to fit the black texture you already had for other parts on it but it doesn't look very good. I think scaling your UV so the texture looks smaller would work better but I have no idea how the concept looks like so I could be wrong.

Hey you're absolutely right about the gun's grip. It might be worth mentioning though that this was the gun's work in progress (WIP). Although I deleted it from my gallery it's still floating around devArt and gets some attention every now and then.

If you're interested in the final, it's at [link]. I appreciate your criticism and gladly welcome anymore for me. What's an artist without improvement, right? :)

I just got this piece in my messages and I didn't check if there was a more recent version, sorry. ^^; You might want to put it in your Scraps, that's what I do with all of my WIPs when the piece is finished. At least it tells people that a more recent version exists.

Criticism is great! As artists, we can't afford to stay at the same level forever! ;)
